Great product, a pleasure to use.

The pay is excellent for the money. Got pros: Inexpensive full-size ATX motherboard based on the popular B450 chipset. Strict design, all the necessary connectors, a bunch of video outputs and pads for case fans. There is an external button for ating the bios without installing a processor. Large bolt-on heatsinks over mosfets. A 32MB bios that supports all existing Ryzens. Six full-fledged phases, which are enough for any percent in nominal value. Cons: The LED strip near the codec and network

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

There are six SATA ports on the motherboard. They have been given numbers. Yet, this is how they are connected within the motherboard; those who are emotionally fragile should not have any trouble understanding this concept. As a consequence of this, it was discovered that the processor contains a controller that, when an M2 disk is being installed, prevents access to the SATA 5-6 ports. As a direct consequence of this, the controller must make use of PCI-ex processor lines in order to link…

    Pros
    • Support for CPUs ranging from the older Zen+ series to the most recent Zen3 series. A successful overclocking of the RAM modules — using 48 GB and the original 3200–3600 MHz — required two pairs of modules made by different vendors. I have been in possession of the motherboard for a very long time; I purchased it well before the initial mining boom, and it continues to function quite well. A sufficient amount of cooling for the interior components. It is recommended that, when the temperature outside is high, the stop button on the video card's fans be turned off. This will reduce the temperature of the chipset from 50 to 47-48 degrees. The BIOS is still being updated, and although it was experiencing some slowness on 5600 with Windows 11, the problem was addressed relatively immediately.
    Cons
    • There are some ambiguities in the documentation.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Essentially a slightly simplified version of the tomahawk. But it has everything you need. I stuck the 1700s, without fanaticism I overclocked the slats and crashed the ballistics (stock 2400 sl17 dvranki) up to 3000 16-16-16-28 cr1, 1.35v, soc 1.025, everything is stable. Got pros: A full-fledged inexpensive board with a convenient bios, a good power supply, no frills. Got cons: 1 slot m2, important: when you install a disk with pci-e x4 into it, it eats off 2 lines from the sata devices - the

    Excellent product, the best quality.

For mid-budget assemblies on ryzens - the best choice of a full-format board, as for me. Its pros: Relatively low price for such characteristics. Pulls all fresh ryzens with ease, many even overclocked. According to the characteristics, the best motherboard in the niche of budget / mid-budget motherboards. A good feeder, similar to the more expensive Tomahawk. In my subjective opinion, in the "price-quality" parameter on the b450 chipset, it is second only to the Asus "Tuf", but it is…

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

In general, the mother makes a very favorable impression. Its pros: For a long time I chose between 450 and 550 chipsets, but from the reviews I realized that 550 has not yet been installed. While 450 has been run in and out and is reliable like a Swiss watch. And so it happened, the Ryzen 9 5900X x12 3700 processor was determined without the slightest question and works fruitfully, the BIOS did not have to be changed. The abundance of SATA3 and USB connectors is also pleasing, for lovers of m2

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Just a solid motherboard for an adequate price, the shortcomings are not critical for me. I took it in February 2022 for 6000. More than satisfied with the purchase. Has some pros -Low price; -Power supply system and radiators are enough for 16 cores to work in stock; -Regularly ated QVL, which greatly simplifies the choice of memory (relevant for all MSI); -Set HyperX HX434C16FB3K2/16 started on native 3466 without any problems, despite the Hynix chips (see shortcomings); -On boards with the…

Read and enjoy the hours saved in your life.

I'll save you the hassle. You need Windows 10. Windows 7 doesn't go through what the installation error says. Phase 2 cannot be loaded. The problem is that Win7 does not support USB3. No matter how you set up your BIOS to deal with legacy USB ports, don't waste time. I bought OEM 10. This is a full installation, not an upgrade. By the way, if you are unable to boot the operating system from your existing hard drive, go to the Windows Setup Command Prompt. By the way, welcome. It took me 3 days…

    Much nicer than I expected.

WIN 7 EDIT: I've seen a lot of misinformation about Win7 support on this board, so let me get that straight. At the time of editing (2/14/21) yes, you can run Win7 on this board. The problem is that the built-in USB chipset is USB3, which Win7 doesn't support natively. HOWEVER, you can inject the drivers into any Win7 installation media using a process called slithering and the DISM tools in Windows. Is it involved? Yes. Does it have to be read? Yes. However, once you finish reading, you can…

    Absolutely no documentation

I've been building my own computers for decades. In the past, motherboards came with documentation that explained important things. Things like an extra power port or how to properly align your RAM. WTF MSI? I was about to bring it back because the documentation was horribly inadequate. Mechanically it's probably pretty solid, but my goodness, the documentation is terrible.

    Custom 4K production/gaming computer

My husband and I built a custom computer for myself rather than buying a computer that was too expensive and limited my options (e.g. an iMac , a MacBook or a box PC to play with). Train station) ). It turned out amazing! I teach ESL using a program called ManyCam which is very CPU intensive and slows down the original computer I was using. Also trying to edit video in Adobe Premiere was a horrible experience. Now I can run ManyCam flawlessly with no lag or freezes and I can edit 4K videos in…

B450-A Pro: Note that it's chocolate brown, NOT black.

Not sure if this is ONLY my board or something else but none of the Amazon photos show this board to be a dirty chocolate brown color. It's INCREDIBLY noticeable and beyond annoying considering my computer was supposed to be mono color after I switched to a modular power supply. Now I'm struggling to send it back and buy something that LOOKS better or take what I have. and live with it? It's bad enough that I logged onto another PC and googled/image to see if it was an accident. Apparently the…

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

I have been dealing with their products for over ten years. A long time ago, back in 2022, I purchased a gts 250 from MSI in my PC. After serving for more than 5 years and morally satisfied, she went to a new owner, and I, in turn, bought myself a gtx750ti also from MSI. A couple of months ago I completely upgraded my PC and bought a motherboard from MSI, knowing that it would definitely not let me down.

NO DISPLAY - FIXED good for internals

Motherboard not displaying images. It turns on fine, the PSU, GPU and fans all work, but when I plug in the monitor there is no image. I will correct the rating if I get help in this regard. Although it says the RYZEN 3000 is ready, it's not until you flash the bios. It's pretty easy. Locate the motherboard BIOS update name (I have MSI B-450 A PRO MAX). Download it to a USB drive that is at least 1GB, but I recommend an 8GB USB drive if you're also installing Windows. After downloading, extract

Reliable board at an affordable price

I was looking for an affordable performance/light gaming/light media creation board. I've gravitated towards gigabytes from my last two builds, but their boards were expensive compared to the features. After some research I decided to try the MSI B450-A Pro Max although my previous experience with MSI was bad long ago (AMD K-6). Six months after purchase I couldn't be happier. Installing the board in my case was easy, as was installing the components. With multiple 4-pin fan headers, I can have

Works great with Ryzen 5 2600 processors

I argued between B450-A and B450 Tomahawk, but the price of Tomahawk has increased, so I bought a cheaper B450-A motherboard, and I must say that it's all mine meets or exceeds expectations. It was easy to install and works great. I'm using an Adata XPG SX8200 NVMe SSD as C drive and a Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 RAM. Everything booted right away and I went into the bios to enable the XMP profile for the RAM and spin the CPU to 3.8GHz with auto Settings in the bios. I'm not an "overclocker"
