The base of these replacement lights is SIMPLY too short to make a solid connection. I had to replace a garland on a pre-lit tree (probably due to a power surge) and they definitely aren't for that. If you need to replace a bunch of random lights, they're fine. If you have a lot of them, you can't tell which ones are a good fit and have a good connection, making it impossible to find problems.

These lanterns didn't fit the sockets on my fairy lights. They were the correct size however the green plastic base was slightly smaller than the opening resulting in a very loose fit. This caused the bulbs to not light up unless I rotated them endlessly to find that "right" spot. In the end I just gave up as I had to replace a few bulbs and could never find the right place for each bulb to light the filament.

I bought these to replace the bulbs on a pre-lit Frontgate Christmas tree. They fit perfectly, with a small latch that snaps into the socket. It's not the most common type so when using bulbs from other strings I would have to straighten the wires to remove the bulb from its existing base and then put it back into the correct base. it's a pain These replacement bulbs had the correct base and therefore fitted perfectly. They lit up well and saved me a lot of work.
