NARA Paper Alcohol Painting Medium Crafting and Paper & Paper Crafts Review

I used to give 2 stars and wasn't quite in love. I like it better and would recommend it to artists using alcohol ink. I still don't like that it doesn't work well with a heat gun but if you just inked it and let it air dry or use the cool tumble dryer setting. I would recommend it if you are looking for a nice round synthetic paper.

These Nara papers are perfect for drawing with alcohol ink! They are of medium thickness and strength, very strong, smooth and versatile. The quality is excellent and although I'm new to alcohol ink I'm having fun experimenting with this Nara round paper. I love its shape and it fits perfectly with the turntable I got from Revain. In both of my works I used alcohol ink, 99% isopropyl alcohol and a marker. I recommend this wonderful product for your creative needs!

I am an alcohol ink artist and I usually use Yupo paper for my work. I use an embossing heat gun to agitate and dry the ink. I'm used to using a medium duty Yupo heat gun with very little if any warping. I'm not sure if it's because the paper is round or just lighter than the average Yupo, but the warping was so severe that I couldn't finish the piece because the paper became unusable.
