My drawer smells bad. And a towel rail. Before buying the next day, there was a smell of wet clothes. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of this smell until a colleague recommended charcoal. The next day the smell was gone. It's really amazing how it works!

While some people say it worked, I'm still waiting for the charcoal fillers to do their thing. I have a pair of winter boots that I keep in stock during the summer months. Unfortunately, they have a musty smell and figured this well-reviewed product would get the job done. NO! It's been a full week with the bag in the boots and the smell hasn't changed at all. This was the only real test for me and it failed so now I have 12 useless bags of activated charcoal fillers.

They really work for smelly boots and shoes. I have used them in my hiking and hunting boots which are thick leather to carry a backpack so they smell natural in summer. They really got rid of every smell from both couples. I went on a date with my wife and daughter to show them these boots and they both said they smelled like nothing! They are inexpensive and each pad is large enough for shoes. I use two per boot in my 10 inch hunting boots.
