Good quality - thick material. Came in folded form, it took a long time to iron to smooth out the creases. It was difficult to pull them out without getting too hot. This is a really nice strong tie that looks well tailored. A little wider than expected but very nice. I was disappointed to finally open it while dressing for the event it was purchased for, there was a long diagonal crease down the front of the tie. Didn't have time to do anything about it so had to wear it and now it has alcohol stains so unlikely to be returned. Now it's folded, I hope I can smooth out the sad looking crease. This is a typical silk tie with a lining which gives it a strong shape and makes tying and dimples easier. The width is medium, not skinny but not chunky either. The finish has some shine but it is negligible and depends on the angle of the light. There are no obvious problems with the seam yet. All in all this is a good tie.
