🧹 Neato Botvac Side Brush Belt 3-Pack for Models 65, 70e, 75, D75, 80, D80, 85, D85, D4, D5, D6, D7 Motors Review

The side brush on my Botvac stopped working a long time ago. Replacing this belt is a bit more difficult as the case has to be disassembled to get to it. When the main brush belt broke its teeth I had to open up the vacuum to replace it so I figured I'd do the side brush belt at the same time. This strap fits and the side brush works again.

Works great so far. You'll need a fairly long Torx screwdriver to get at the motor that spins the side brush. The exchange took about 30 minutes. The old one was obviously worn and stretched. I've read complaints about replacements made from other material. Honestly I think this is done specifically to increase durability. Now the brush rotates quickly and evenly on the carpet. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far I'm very satisfied. It's better to send it to a repair shop and pay $100.

Much thicker than OEM belts and should last longer. Fitting a new belt to the engine was easy. Getting to the engine to put the belt on isn't that much. But with the help of a few YouTube videos, I managed to do it in about 20 minutes. The first set I ordered disappeared at a UPS location 30 miles from my home.
