I'm a big fan of chemical-free drying and have been using wool drying balls for a number of years. I recently tried the seventh generation chemical-free dryer, but still prefer wool dryers. I don't care about the smell of "regular" dryer sheets on my clothes. I don't usually get static electricity when using balls of yarn. The only exception is when I dry my microfiber towels.
