👟 New Balance Men's 460 V2 Running Shoe: Lightweight Performance and Comfort for Men Review

I am 77 years old. old and not working. However, many years ago my pediatrician told me that sneakers are the best walking shoes because of the support they provide. I have one problem. Since then I no longer wear normal shoes, except to church or other more formal places. I got lucky with New Balance. They always fit as I would expect and feel very comfortable.

Incredibly after 2 weeks there was a hole in the mesh over my left toe! The hole is the size of a coin. I wear socks, my toenails are trimmed clean, my shoes aren't tight, and I've done nothing but walk in them. I have owned many New Balance (and other brands) shoes and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I cannot recommend these shoes and will certainly not buy them again.

After a couple of weeks of wearing the mesh tore. I'm not rough with them at all. I wrote to New Balance but they sent me a list of things that would be MY fault and didn't really seem to care to please a customer who hasn't worn anything but New Balance for over 30 years. Time for a new brand as this one is going under. My other new pair of New Balance weren't nearly as comfortable as I'm used to from this brand and they went straight to Goodwill. They are comfortable but very poorly made.

I don't like these shoes. I've only had them since October (6 months now) and they have holes in the top of the shoe where my toes are. I've never had a problem with New Balance, but I think that's what I get when I buy cheap shoes. Perhaps the only good thing about them is the price. $39.99 is probably the lowest price I've paid for a shoe in years. You get what you pay for I guess. It is not recommended to buy them. This could be a great shoe but I had great trouble getting it (lost in the post, Revain was outraged and ended up getting the wrong size). I liked the gray pair and they look amazing. But the landing is very narrow and short. With New Balance I usually wear a size 14D (medium width) but they do NOT have the typical New Balance fit. If you have big feet, order one size up.
