Okay thought I'd leave a review on this because it seems we've been looking for a portable cooler that works for a long time. We live in Southern California near the coast so our high this year is around 92-93 degrees and sometimes there is no wind. It works well for what we need and cools a room of around 350 square feet. This cooler is working really well for us right now. However, I doubt that it will survive the summer. We are in Southern California. We had an open wind window cooler hooked up and I think that's the key to making it work. We turned it on with no open window and noticed the humidity in the room and the lack of air cooling effect.
