American Pattern Rectangular Aluminum by Nicholson Review

I think the other reviewers must have gotten something else. This file arrived today and it's so rough it's totally unsuitable for metal. I have wooden files that are thinner than these. Looking at the picture you get the impression that the file is of excellent quality lol?

I have the 10" version and it is perfect for trimming angle aluminum drill bits. It's really sharp and just the right amount of spacing so it won't snag when you put a little pressure on the cut. A full stroke probably takes 0.5mm from the corner and the aluminum doesn't stick together in the teeth. The price is right, just mark or separate so you or someone else doesn't try to use it on steel.

Works well and as intended. Deburring aluminum. I just use it without a handle and find it ok. I would definitely recommend gloves if doing this and possibly eye protection.
