🔌 Efficient and Convenient Nutone 360W Central Vacuum Automatic Inlet - White Review

Perfect replacement for existing door panel, fits on mounting screws and is relatively the same size. Not quite as white as I would like. Not quite white. Doesn't quite match my outlet and switch covers like I had hoped. The quality corresponds to a component from the 80s.

Installed in a 45 year old apartment. The pipe is slightly larger than this inlet and is not included in the wall box. The old one on the edge, measured with a caliper, has 1600 inches, the new 1620 inches. Sand them down to fit. Note, however, that this may also apply to your system.

I bought a couple of these to replace the old beige ones in our house with an old cracked cork gasket. They were very easy to swap out and the new rubber type gasket is much more flexible than the old cork gasket. I only wish they would make them pure white to match the modern white outlet covers and light switches.

We were looking for a replacement because our existing blocks were turning yellow. They were easy to install and work perfectly. The previous blocks had a cork seal held closed by a small clip and worked well. These newer units (we bought 3) had crappy plastic gaskets and one didn't even have a mounting clip! I used cork gaskets from old blocks.
