This is a good size for our camper for moving air especially to keep our dogs cool. But when we can't plug it in, the built-in battery only lasts 4 hours at low speed. We bought the necessary 8 D cell batteries for it, charged the batteries but it barely lasted 8 hours on a low charge. The D items were $13, so the price is going up fast! The kit includes a plug for charging the battery, but that doesn't help us when we're relaxing in a state park with no power. There is also a cigarette lighter

This fan is a great idea. It charges with built-in batteries and there is a D-cell battery compartment at the bottom. It has a USB port where you can connect your phone or other device for charging. What I don't like are the skinny legs. They form cracks that should not occur in a properly designed part. Bought used from Revain. It arrived poorly packaged, one of the legs was already broken. With plenty of glue I was able to fix it. All in all I am not very happy with this purchase.

super disappointment. I have had several models of O2Cool fans and this is by far the worst. First, it's noisy. Second, it doesn't keep the internal battery charged for very long. Third, if you are using solar power, it will NOT work with a modified sine wave power converter - it has to be a pure sine wave. We often camp in our LQ horse trailer and sometimes in places where we are not allowed to leave our generator running at night. I bought this fan for when we need to sleep with the window open and it fits and sits perfectly in our horse trailer bedroom windows (no legs).
