Stick to the brand name. Gorgeous cut.

First I bought a large pack of regular blades and all they did was chew on my expensive cloth. I decided to order a blade from this brand for my Olfa circular knife. So glad I did. This blade easily slices through 6 layers of fabric like butter. Don't waste your money on regular blades.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Expensive

Disappointing in quality

Firstly the rotating blade, although packaged as OLFA, does not have an OLFA stamp on the blade. Secondly, this blade is not as sharp as a typical OLFA blade and has a small margin of error that causes the blade not to cut cleanly unless you put a lot of pressure on it. I have to use it until I get another OLFA blade, but I won't buy one like this again.

Pros
  • Stitching
Cons
  • Only available in white

That blade dulled instantly. Do not buy in 2020

This is a mystery. This blade was dull the first time I used it. My 45mm cuts fabric like a dream. A few weeks later I'm still using the same 45mm blade. This 65mm blade must be defective. My husband and I spent hours trying to figure out what was going on. It's a secret. I have no idea why. Update August 2020 - This was by no means a new blade. I'm still using the same 45mm blade after 2 months. The 2020 blade is a bit fishy and I don't think this is Olfa's new blade.

Complete failure

This blade was purchased to replace the blade that came with the Olfa circle cutter purchased a few months earlier. The blade of this cutter kept rolling, which required me to finish the cuts with my scissors. So what was the point of a rotary cutter? I replaced that blade with this one but the problem came back. I took Olfa back to the store I bought it from and threw that blade away. Don't waste time, money or effort. SO many online reviews have warned about this problem and yet I bought the…
