🔮 OLOy 64GB DDR4 RAM (2x32GB) 3200MHz CL22 1.2V 260-Pin Laptop SODIMM for Intel (MD4S3232220IZ0DH) Review

I bought a new HP Pavilion 16 gaming laptop and upgraded its memory from 8GB to 32GB. The memory installation went smoothly. The biggest problem is opening a case. It has nothing to do with memory and has nothing to do with modern computer design. Pack more into less space. So far no problems. Windows screams with extra memory and one game I tested (Diablo 3) ran great on the highest settings. I bought the computer for application development rather than gaming. Additional memory helps.

Installed this 2 x 32GB RAM in an early 2020 HP Specter x360 15t Touch AMOLED version with a 10th Gen Intel i7-10510U laptop. Before ordering I made sure that this laptop (bought in January 2020) has two 260 pin memory slots. The installation itself is very simple. A blank screen appears when the laptop is first turned on. The 2x32GB set has worked well with a Ryzen @ 3200MHz laptop so far. Beware, Amazon accidentally sent me a 32GB kit first so I thought there was something wrong with the RAM, they then sent a 64GB kit as I ordered and everything was fine.

Unsurprisingly here, SPD is set to 3200MHz and works at all timings listed. This is Hynix RAM. However, note that they do not have a written XMP profile, nor do they have a default lower-speed profile, so some laptop BIOSes may not be what you want.

My Dell 5577 gaming laptop (which is awesome) is used as my main office desktop is a bit slow considering I work with a lot of open windows and do video and audio editing files, so the system requirements are relatively high. This new addition/upgrade is the best I've spent on this laptop in the last year or so. I highly recommend it!

I have this ram stick to upgrade one of my laptops (Asus G14). A flash drive installed, but the machine does not boot. So I tried this on my other Intel based laptop (MSI Stealth G65) and it worked fine. So I tried this on my mini pc (thin Lenovo m720Q) and it worked great. So I tried again on the first laptop, thinking maybe I had inserted the flash drive wrong. Again it didn't work. Then I tried it on my kids mini pc (T-Bao MN25 mini pc) and it didn't boot at all.
