Works like a branded belt

I'm a girl who loves buying and repairing used vacuum cleaners. Recently, my local thrift stores have Oreck XL racks that require straps. If I can get them cheap, I'll buy them and "flip" them. The last one I bought was the Oreck XL "40th Anniversary Edition". When the straps arrived I was afraid at first that they wouldn't fit because the strap was so tight out of the box. Exact replacement for replacement batteries and parts

Nothing special about this product other than it fits and works! It's hard to admire a piece of rubber and cloth spinning a brush in a vacuum. However, running a vacuum cleaner without a belt is a futile exercise. I wondered why my attempts to clean carpets hadn't worked. Then I checked - the brush does not rotate. Not Original Oreck Belt As Promised - Aftermarket Product

Product presented as Oreck Original Belt. The picture on the Revain website even showed the straps in the original Oreck three-piece packaging (red, white and blue). I received 3 aftermarket straps in a clear plastic bag inside an unmarked white mylar mailer. The straps themselves are marked "Made in America to Fit Oreck Racks". belt NOT Oreck; Universal Disposable Strap According to Revain Customer Service

It's such a shame that you buy a genuine OEM product and end up with a generic branded replacement instead. I'm not against generics in general - I buy a lot of generics - but some things just aren't worth it and this is one of them. This versatile belt is thinner, softer and has more flexibility/stretch than the original Oreck belt.
