This is a vacuum cleaner bag. It really seems to keep dust and allergens out and we survived a recent flea infestation which was easily partially resolved because I could vacuum thoroughly and then dispose of the bags and the fleas didn't escape back into the house. They're expensive but last a long time.

We have four dogs and I just can't stand a house that smells like animals (and yes, our dogs are clean. :-) Vacuum bags can get pretty smelly. You are no exception if you do not follow the manufacturer's recommendations and change them monthly (though not completely). But they last a month with little odor unlike some other vacuum bags we've tried. And we have less dust in the house than when we moved in 10 months ago, between vacuum bags and regular air filter changes. I don't like the smell…
