You need to know and hear how they change the sound before you buy.

Wrong choice. Because of this, my two-way Alpine speakers have lost volume and sound quality. They made them sound like some tweeters. that I bought were so wrong for my speakers. They also cause clipping, which I didn't have before the front and mine 6x9 when I crank the volume up.

    Pros
    • Quality construction
    Cons
    • Poor instructions

Complete trash is best in bass blockers

Barely soldered to the capacitor, the wire fell off when the twist was loosened. No problem, I just open it up and solder the wire. An unnamed capacitor is glued to one end, it looks like the wire is pulled halfway out of the capacitor itself. It must have been pretty rough handling twisting it into a package. Now it's cut so can't return it (yes that's my fault) but I'm an idiot who just didn't look at the capacitor size and bought a pair for 0.24c.

    • Easy to use

    • Not as thick as other picks

    Replacing Camry Dash Speakers?

I replaced my stock speakers with some Rockford Fosgate P132 - 3.5 inch speakers. They sounded great but I was worried they wouldn't last long as I was listening to music loud and seeing visually how much bass these speakers were squeezing out. Bass blockers are a must for those who basically want the dash speakers to be an upgraded version of the "tweeter". And especially for those who already have a subwoofer to deal with bass.

    Pros
    • High marks for support and durability from testers
    Cons
    • I can't remember but there was something

    Replacing Camry Dash Speakers?

I replaced the standard speakers with Rockford Fosgate P132 - 3.5 inch speakers. They sounded great but I was afraid they wouldn't last long as I play my music loud and I could visually see the bass these speakers put out. Bass blockers are essential for those who basically want their dash speakers to be an upgraded version of the "tweeter" and especially for those who already have a subwoofer to handle the bass for you.

    Amazing Bass Blockers

Man I had no idea the difference they would make. I installed them as part of a store speaker build using the leftover 3.5" and 4" speakers with external mids and bass. This ensures the speakers aren't wasting energy creating those low tones that other speakers are processing. Namely as an unregulated high-pass filter. They are essential and I will use them when I upgrade the 3.5 inch speakers in my car.

    Pros
    • Car Electronics
    Cons
    • No Power

I bought this based on my speaker size but the threshold for them is 0-28kHz which effectively turns your 3.5 inch speaker into a tweeter transformed. At this point, you don't even get part of the midrange. Most quality speakers will play up to 100Hz with no problem, so unless you have a component tweeter, the sound will clip too much. The product itself looks ok, I went back and bought the blue PAC bass blockers.
