I don't like anything about these ignition coils. They are an amazing deal and they work like a charm. There are two in one box if your car needs it. If your car only needs one thing, like my 1994 Escort, you can get a replacement part at a price much LESS than anyone else's price. They are very easy to install, just disconnect one wire at a time from the old spool and connect the same wire to the new spool one at a time. They arrived in no time. How this affected the throttle response of my 4.6 liter Triton engine. Installed on my 98 F150 and immediately noticed a difference in engine response and idle. Very impressed, especially for the price. Thought they were very cheap. It took a bit of dexterity to fit the spark plug leads into the slots on the coils, but once they snap, they fit snugly and securely. No problems since installation. Highly recommended if you want to give your engine some life back.

Great price for a pair of rolls. The new coils tested well with a multimeter so I installed them and a 1991 Ford Ranger truck with a 2.3 liter dual plug engine started right away. Just note that the coils are not marked or stamped with cylinder numbers so you will need to refer to your old coil packs to place the spark plug wires correctly. Don't forget to number the spark plug leads before removing them and make sure they actually belong to the correct cylinders!

It took me about 10 minutes to change coils of unknown age on my '97 Ranger. They appear to be exact copies, they even weigh the same. These coils are so cheap and easy to upgrade that I don't care how long they last, I'll just waste another $30 and 10 minutes of my time if/when they go bad again. Worked great on my F150. Inserting the plug cords is a little trickier as the inside is flat where you actually get a metal hole for the plug cord to go into whereas Motorcraft plug cords are shaped like a cone to feed it into the hole. I had one who was particularly adamant about queuing but he pulled through and everything worked out great. Great price and do what they are supposed to.
