It was not as described. I tried to buy diabetic socks with mesh soles. The socks were elastic enough but didn't have slatted soles to prevent slipping.

This was perfect for my mum who suffers from lymphedema. Finding socks wasn't easy, but finding non-slip socks helped her since she can't wear shoes.

Ordered these socks for my 94 year old father. It is very difficult for him to wear ordinary socks as they are too tight for his ankles, which often swell. Grips are appreciated as he is at risk of falling and anything we can do to stop him from slipping is amazing.

I bought them for my father because his feet were very swollen after chemo. Also, the non-slip bottom prevents it from falling over, similar to hospital socks. I wasn't overly optimistic that they were wide enough, but they were. VERY grateful for that! There are no longer any marks from tight socks on his legs. Very wide and elastic.

These socks have a lot of stretch above the ankle, but that's where the stretch stops. My father is a size 13 shoe. His legs are very swollen as are his shins/ankles. They sit well above the ankles but the foot of the socks stretch very little and are too tight. In addition, the anti-slip area only covers 3/4 of the foot. So if you have an average foot size without severe foot swelling, this is normal. Don't buy for big swollen feet. It won't work and could wreak havoc on an already compromised
