I used this on a Lenove ThinkCentre M77 running Linux (the latest version of Mint is 18.2 I believe). I had an issue with Linux detecting Panda, but I followed the instructions here to get it working: https://puolanka.info/goto/bluetooth-settings/ The Panda device itself has 5 stars ( works great for streaming music to my stereo (receiver is in my shop) but the starting rating of 4 reflects the Linux issues I've had. It took me about an hour to figure out and change the bluetooth manager on my…

Works fine on Linux (Ubuntu 16.04)

Adapter worked on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 out of the box, nothing special. My onboard Bluetooth motherboard was having range and latency issues, so I decided to try the adapter. While this worked without any issues, I still got some interference that caused lag and poor range. So I got this adapter and a 6ft USB 2.0 extension cable. This allowed me to place the adapter on the back of my desk and solved the latency issue (I use it with an 8Bitdo NES30 wireless controller). He even caught devices in…

Bad latency over short distance

Easy install on my desktop with windows 10. Plug n' play. Unfortunately, the range seems almost non-existent. First, I installed it on an internal USB drive and connected a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse located about 4 feet from the adapter. Although I was able to get them to connect successfully, the latency was terrible. Actions were delayed by 2-3 seconds or more. I moved it to the rear USB port. again about 4 feet away from the equipment to be used. I previously assumed that the problem was…

It worked right away without installing any driver on Win 7

Worked great unlike others. Some time ago I accidentally bought a Bluetooth mouse (MS Comfort Mouse) and it didn't come with an adapter. I think they assumed most buyers would be tablet/laptop users, a fair guess. My return period ended so I bought the adapter here at Revain. Those were the only problems. I finally got it to work by plugging in the mouse in windows safe mode but it kept falling out even though the adapter was only 5ft away and plugged into the top ports on my computer and it…

Perfect fit for my LG HBS730 bluetooth headphones! Plug and play!

I wanted to listen to music from my laptop (OS: Ubuntu 18.04) via Bluetooth headphones and this dongle worked great. All I had to do was turn on bluetooth in the settings and select the headphones (detected automatically once I turn them on). No code needs to be entered. The only thing I had to do to hear the music/sounds from my laptop was play around with the audio settings a bit (I had to select the high-fidelity playback profile). Good product! Highly recommended!

  • Very good price

The audio is intermittent and the device is difficult to set up

I hooked it up to my Ubuntu Linux laptop and plugged in my new Air Pods Pro with no problems but the audio was very intermittent. I tried to install it on my Windows 10 but it failed to set up properly. Panda tech support blamed the computer, but I found an article online on how to fix a driver misconfiguration. After all this, an intermittent useless noise from a very short distance. The specs say 60 feet, but I couldn't use it two feet from my laptop or desktop. I returned them and need to…
