I paid less for my turntable ($8) but got a damn good deal. The needle I received looked different than the picture but it works great and sounds good.

Tried this pen as a replacement for a very old Magnovox console system. Easy installation and sound improved but not adapted to the original quality. There is a suspicion that the cartridge with the needle needs to be replaced.

If you're looking for a needle for your vintage Zenith Allegro, look no further. I'm using my second needle I bought here and just bought 2 more for parts. Easy to install (once you remember how to do it again lol) and sounds great. It's amazing to know that you can still get needles at Revain!

I inherited an old BSR turntable from the early 70's when my grandmother died. It actually still sounded OK after a good cleaning and oiling, but I was wondering what its true potential was. Seeing this as a cheap experiment, I found this needle and replaced the original. It literally doubled the volume and greatly improved the sound quality.

My mom still has my dad's old stereo that I remember from when I was a kid (40+ years ago). She wanted to listen to some of my dad's old albums just as a souvenir. The needle has deteriorated. I ordered this. It came very quickly. I installed it and it played beautifully. My mom shed tears hearing the music she shared with dad.

The numbers were different but the specs were the same and when I went to install everything was right. Now I'm listening to albums I haven't played in over 40 years. I'm less of an audiophile and more of a vinyl lover. This pen is perfect for my old school turntable. The sound quality is excellent! The neighbors thought I played CDs at first until I showed them the cover. My record collection is mostly second hand store finds, but they still sound crisp like I was the original owner or are 180g vinyl reissues.
