Finally used for a tube ride and everything inside came out dry except my phone got a bit wet before the zip. The phone didn't break, but now I know not to use this bag. Not sure if this is just an issue for me but if you are considering buying this product I would recommend testing it in the bath.

One of the reasons I chose this bag was the versatility of the straps. However, after receiving the bag I found that they are taped to the bottom of the bag and have flimsy plastic clips that attach/detach. One of the clips broke on first use, the bag wasn't even full. I will keep looking for a better bag.

Looks good, I'm planning to use it on our sailing trip next weekend. I have had several other brands in the past and hope to see the same good quality on this one. I chose this one because the ability to attach things to it with carabiners is attractive. I also like that it has a front pocket. Pelican is a brand I trust so I hope this stuff sack doesn't disappoint! In any case, we will update it after the raft trip!

Cool bag! Durable lightweight waterproof backpack for boating, kayaking, hiking, water parks, rainy day activities and keeping your belongings dry. I've used it for multiple activities and even skinned in the water and ocean kayaked in the waves all day and it does the trick. ! Much better than previous parachute material bags that claimed to be "waterproof bags" that didn't keep my stuff dry but wet instead. Too bad I didn't buy them a year ago!

Great bag. I took it on a seven mile hike at about 40 pounds and it was comfortable. I think it's good that you can see the contents of the bottom of the bag from the outside. I took it by kayak and it stayed dry but didn't flood. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that I haven't used it long enough to speak of durability, but it's held up well so far. Highly recommended! This rating refers to the 30 liter bag.

Positive: I rate the bag 5 stars myself. I took it through a 12 hour hike through waterfalls and rivers. Everything stayed dry even when fully submerged in water. The bag floats great. Roll it up! belt, 2 stars. If they were sewn into the pocket it would be great. But they are only sewn on top and glued on the bottom. They broke as soon as I got up to my chest in the water. After that I had to lug the bag 15 miles.

Best stuff sack I've ever had. Plenty of space for a large beach towel, 2 bottles of water and 2 dry shirts. It's also comfortable enough for a weekend hike, and the adjustable shoulder straps make it easy to carry for extended periods of time. The outer loops are great for dog water bowls when attached with a carabiner. Pelikan quality, this bag costs twice as much. I put it on the front of my paddleboard and everything stayed dry on the water for 3 hours, even my phone in my zip pocket.

This Pelican bag is perfect for long walks in bad weather. I go to work and back to the nearest farmers market. Rainy weather can really fall, so this bag comes in handy to keep everything from getting wet. I usually keep my phone and keys in my pocket, which has electronic parts, and carry them in my pocket when needed. When I get home it will be warm and dry.
