I love these recorders

I keep buying more and more of these recorders. They're a little pricey, but they have so many features. They work perfectly with the software and my paralegals have no issues with clarity. Excellent purchase!

The only viable solution for office dictation

Many years later my trusty Sony digital voice recorder died. It was excellent in both application and durability. I bought 4 digital recorders but wasn't satisfied until I bought Phillips. From my previous Sony I uploaded the dictated files to the server and my paralegal transcribed them. In Phillips' case, I give her an SD card and she uploads it to her station. The device is comfortable but much larger than the Sony. Sony also had a strap so you don't drop it. My only big problem is the…

My law firm recently switched to electronic dictation and has tested several devices including the Phillips DPM6700. Four attorneys in my office tested this device and all had the same annoying problem. During dictation, the device somehow unexpectedly jumps back to the beginning of the dictation with no sound indication. Before you know it, you have dictated the beginning of your dictation.
