Bought as active speakers for Sony USB players. Works with synced BT source but can't reach very low volume with direct wired source. The product support was not worth the time spent.

You get what you pay for and they are returned. At around 50% volume, the speakers become extremely distorted and unusable. Very disappointed as they don't even compare to Logitech PC speakers. Not sure why other reviews say these are good speakers, they really suck.

A speaker with great build quality and great sound. You can't get by for this money. The instructions are easy to read and make it easy to set up. No distortion at max volume, just crisp highs and clear, clean bass. Will buy again. Bought as a present for my 11 year old son, he loves them and loves how crisp and loud they are.

I bought these units for the looks and expected a compromise on the sound. My expectations were not met - they sound really great! Of course, the bass cannot be reproduced by a subwoofer, but it is more than worth the money. I was also very satisfied with the selection of inputs. Although I probably won't use it often, the Bluetooth connection is very convenient.

Very good, non-audiophile sound! Extremely clear bass for 3" speakers (sounds like a 6" or 8" woofer). Pure high frequencies. No distortion via Bluetooth. Rugged construction. Multiple connection options. They will spread clear sound in my 1100sf apartment. All cables are separate from the system Great for less than $100 AAA batteries are not included.

I bought these speakers for my kitchen when I needed a pair of small speakers for background music while cooking. The sound is not small at all. I'm not sure how the DSP mentioned in the description works, but the bass is very impressive, clean, tight and dynamic. I find myself listening to music in the kitchen even when I'm not cooking!

I am 80 years old so my hearing is quite imperfect. I wanted to be able to understand the news on my computer without having to constantly read subtitles.
