Puppy Bumper Keep Fence 10 13 Review

I loved this product until my dog got his front foot caught in a circle and couldn't pull his leg out on his own. And last night the bumper kind of got stuck in his mouth and we had to struggle to get it off. He couldn't close his mouth and panicked.

Fantastic. Our dog could walk through our fence. Now she can't. what more can i say We often leave her on late because she goes in and out a lot. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, she often sleeps in it. I'm not entirely sure of the quality. The first one we bought burst at the seams within two to three months. But she was a pup and has used it as a toy a few times when we left it within reach so I hope the second one lasts longer.

The bumper works exactly as you would expect. It has loops to thread a spare collar through which I recommend. This makes putting on and taking off the bumper very easy and making it difficult for the dog to take it off. My dog's collar size is 13 inches so I ordered a size 10-13 and it fits perfectly. This is a 9 month old Miniature Schnauzer and I didn't want him to be too big and dragging on the floor or anything.

This product is brilliant. If you have a small dog with a fence that's too far apart, this is the quick (and cheap) fix you've been looking for. Sure, your dog will have to get used to looking at his friends like they're stupid, but it's hard to argue with the functionality. The only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars is that it can be a bit of a hassle to attach the collar to the loops every time you want to use it. Not sure how to fix this, but a design tweak would help.

This is a real plus. My big pup was always climbing out of our fence (in a country with wildlife) and chasing neighbors, workers, animals and anything that interested him. Being a puppy he always thought it was just a game and not dangerous. That kept him in our garden and didn't get through the bars in the fence.
