Works great and easy to set up

First time using a modular power supply. At first I thought what the hell am I looking at here. But once you get started, it's very easy to understand. All cables are labeled, as are all inputs on the power supply. The cables are not as thick as my old PSU, which makes cable management much easier. So far I've been using it for a few hours and give it 5 stars. for now. This is a platinum rated PSU so I'm not expecting any bugs but who knows I'll keep my eyes open and update if there are any…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Anything I can add

I bought a power supply in January 2020 and it already died in September. Support told me I could send them the PSU (at my own expense) and they would test it and then decide if they should send me a replacement. I am working on this computer from home and it will take up time that I don't have. I will also have to buy a new power supply at my own expense and at best they will send me a replacement unit just to serve as a backup. Don't buy this brand if you need to rely on your PC for work.

It seemed like a really well constructed sentence. Good finishes, good cables, quiet. But when I turned it on or off, it sometimes "crackled" with a faint smell of ozone, which made me think I had a bad switch. I've worked with this a few times hoping it would work on its own, no bones. I ended up returning within the original return period and unfortunately when buying PC parts during the Covid period I couldn't easily get an exchange for them. I have decided on a different product, but I…

Be Quiet: the new PS quality standard.

The 1200 watts exceeds any load I would handle in my new build. Motorway junction at least. The name Be Quiet inspires confidence in operation, it really is very quiet. Basically, there is no more noise coming from your PS. It also appears to be extremely effective in achieving that goal, namely 80 Plus Platinum. I've used a variety of PSUs, from cheaper ones to more reliable ones, mainly Corsair etc. This PSU impresses with easy installation, low temp/super quiet operation and even looks cool…

Very quiet, finally my computer is comparable to a MacBook

After using the Macbook quietly for a long time, I got used to quiet PCs and especially couldn't stand the high volume of a normal Windows desktop when I surf the Internet without many difficult tasks. After replacing the case fan and the CPU fan on my desktop with Noctua fans, I still hear loud noises all the time, but these are not Noctua fans, they are PSU fans installed on my desktop by Skytech . Funny how some PSU manufacturers call their PSUs "super quiet" when they are actually very…

Calm! I hear you knocking on my door

Very quiet power supply and after 3 months of daily use this power supply does its job. It works very well with electricity, and fitting it into the be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 Black Rev. 2 was pretty easy. The fan remains on after it may have been turned off to maintain PSU temperature. Literally for a minute or two after many hours of use. I keep my apartment cool (68Β°F) so the PSU stays pretty cool. This PSU has an overclocking feature that I don't have to use yet, but it does. The overclock…
