Great blades - rotary cutting blades

I took a chance and bought these blades and am glad I did. I find these blades sharp and do NOT notice them dulling prematurely. The oiled blades come in a plastic case with a simple clasp. The only thing that bothers me about the packaging is that the blades are difficult to separate. (This is almost always a problem with multi-blade packs.) When I needed a blade, I couldn't just slide the top blade out of the stack, so I had to use a needle to poke under the first blade to close it lever out.

DO NOT BUY! This is NOT tungsten tool steel. Unused quality.

TLDR: False claim that the metal is SKS-7 tool steel. It's actually bad Chinese steel. fries fast. Not good for cutting. Sent back for a refund. I saw all the 5 star reviews and thought wow these blades must be great. Unfortunately, most of these reviews appear to be fake and paid for by the seller. Upon arrival, I popped one of these blades into my clipper and began cutting the usual 3 layers of plain cotton fabric. I immediately hear a "cracking" sound when I cut. It was very unusual and I…

Worst Blade Ever!

On December 17th I bought a pack of ten on the recommendation of other quilters. I didn't need them right away, so I hid them in a small plastic container. About 5 months ago I needed a new blade so I pulled out this new container. The blades are in good condition. They were still covered in oil. Basically like that. No rust or anything. The first try with the new blade was to cut a strip 2 1/2 inches wide. It cut so bad I could feel it! I thought, okay, maybe I glued two blades together…

Terrific right out of the box

I use 60mm rotary blades to precisely cut pieces of donated fabric for charity blankets. I expect a new blade to be able to cleanly cut a web layer in one pass with normal hand strength. I struggled with these blades, squeezing harder and harder to get clean cuts, skipping the ruler and finally moving on to the next blade in the pack, thinking it was an anomaly. nope After blade number FOUR and my hand aching from the hard squeeze, I gave up and went back to the higher blade. IMMEDIATE relief…

This review supersedes my original one star review. Our company uses hundreds of blades a year and usually uses another brand that has never let us down. We decided to try Quilters Cut to replace another expensive brand and honestly we had no luck with the blade set we received. Unfortunately, instead of contacting the supplier, I wrote a review that was anything but outstanding. shame on us.
