Very cute but the collar won't loosen when caught. Consider the risk of your cat getting into situations where the collar could snag.

My cat Mister Mitten is ready to mix in these elegant bow ties this holiday season. They are well made and easy to adjust to fit any neck size. The only downside is that I wish they had built in an elastic part of the collar so it stretches to avoid choking if the necklace gets snagged on something. Very cute and very well made but they are described as cat collars but are not removable. They have a plastic clasp and squeeze to open a buckle collar found on dog collars. I never use and never will use collars without a detachable collar for my four year old because sometimes I come home and find the collar on the floor.
