Scratches, Won't Rub Leather

I should have read all the reviews before buying 2 colors 6 yards each. Gender neutral face masks made but too itchy to wear. Washed but still not soft enough to wear all day. I want to return the fabric :(

Pros
  • Fabric Care Instructions: Machine wash on gentle cycle/lay flat
Cons
  • Do not machine wash

Soft and lightweight

I like the chambray color - light blue denim. I made a 2 yard crossover apron (pattern from Purl Soho) and it is beautiful. It's soft, lightweight, and slightly stretchy. Badly wrinkled after prewash. Even after ironing, it looks a little wrinkled. French seams are great for fabrics that tear easily.

Pros
  • Imported Designation: Made in USA or Imported
Cons
  • Very expensive

Nice fabric (if you never wash it)

This fabric looks nice and is light. I sewed a skirt out of it, using a lining (the fabric is clearly not transparent, but hold it to the light and the mysteries that are not visible underneath). It confuses me that the fabric doesn't wash well. I followed the directions - gently wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. There was a surprising amount of shrinkage and wrinkling, even for a linen blend treated with care.

Pros
  • Fabric type: 55% linen/45% viscose
Cons
  • unreliable fabric
