Impressive Performance!

The carbide blade I recently purchased is simply amazing. Based on my observations, the blade has a 36-tooth design, perfectly suitable for cutting. It can effortlessly slice through different materials, including hardwood, softwood, and plywood. Despite its aggressive cuts, it creates smooth, burn-free finishes. The only downside is that it is slightly expensive compared to other models. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend it to other power tool enthusiasts.

Pros
  • Sharp and durable carbide teeth
Cons
  • May become dull faster with heavy use

Have a spare blade ready!

Needed if you have a jigsaw! One should really try to avoid nails or have a spare blade on hand. It has a carbide tip and will hold up fairly well, but once it gets dull the work can stop. Ordering and waiting for a new blade can be a real hassle. Have a replacement ready!

Pros
  • Designed for cutting doors, skirting boards and along walls
Cons
  • Nothing

It's easy to use and very effective.

Seems ok. Not used yet. It's the right size and has a tungsten tip. Should be good. Too bad we can't shop in the UK at a reasonable price. I have used a Roberts jigsaw extensively in the UK installing oak and laminate floors. It's easy to use and very efficient, although it only needs to be 110 volts. Transformers are ready. This is a really useful set. I haven't used it to shorten doors. Only mainly for cutting baseboards. That's a damn good set.

Pros
  • 36 tooth wood cutting blade
Cons
  • No automatic
