Please note that these grinding wheels are not marked for grit. There is a color card in the set, but the colors do not match and many colors are difficult to distinguish. I had to determine what I could and then do my best to put them in the right order. The blue appearing 2400 seems coarser than the brown 1500. They seem to work fine but better marking would be helpful to ensure a proper coarse to fine transition.

I have several Micro Mesh sanding pads that I use on plastic models and they don't reach the quality and durability of MM. Firstly the color code is for grain out. I had to do a few tests to find out the actual grit of each pad, which only gave about 50% accuracy. It would be nice if they listed the actual grit on the last one instead of using imprecise color coding. Second, the abrasive is removed from the plate fairly quickly, especially with wet sanding. Reversible Abrasive Pads (9pcs): Color card useless. It doesn't match the color of the pads so can't tell which is which. The colors of the pad do not match the roughness or fineness of the pad. There is no blue pad, no purple pad. Foam pads are not marked. First you have to look at the grit under a 20x loupe, then you have to run your fingernail over the surface to feel and hear which are rougher and which are finer.
