Plush, soft, responsive

I personally drive better than the T17. The T18 now features the full coverage of the XT-900 rubber outsole, improved midsole sidewalls and heel geometry, but retains the springy PWRUN+ midsole and plush materials. Still a little heavy, but a great addition to an excellent everyday running shoe for long runs.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Safety

Blisters on both feet

This replaced the Sacony Triumph 17 which performed excellently. I was able to return these shoes, for which I am grateful. During my first run (5 miles) I had severe blisters on both heels and "blister sensation" meaning I couldn't see the blisters but I could feel them on my feet, on my toes and on the outside of my foot . I've been in treatment for 2 weeks now - very bad experience.

Very good running shoes

If you've had a pair of Triumph 17s they look like this in comparison: They have less bulk and soft padding around the ankle collar - which is good. It took me about ten miles of wear to fully wear out. They are smaller than the previous version of this shoe (I wear a larger width). Same length but definitely a little narrower in width. Overall a very good running shoe after about 20 miles of running. I've also worn Hoka and New Balance shoes for years after wearing Brooks for years. These are…

  • Easy to use

Can they be a little thinner than the previous pair?

Bought to replace an identical pair with a mileage of about 300 km. I've worn them twice and they seem a little thinner in the forefoot. I am sure there is no difference in the sole or construction and I hope that with a little more breaking in they will be comfortable enough. no salute as my forefoot is at the wide end of the metatarsus. Otherwise no complaints as I find this to be a very neutral cushioned shoe that has some spring and works well for me.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some problems
