It is not possible to fill this canister with petrol at a gas station.

As you know when you buy petrol from a gas station you have to put a gasket around the hole to allow the petrol to flow. This gas bottle has a "protective screen" in the bottle neck that cannot be removed. I managed to get the gas hose all the way down the canister's neck and by pressing down hard I was finally able to start a jet of gas to fill the canister. After 2 seconds the gas started pouring onto the bottom because the screen wasn't letting the gas into the canister fast enough so that…

Gas enters but does not exit

I bought this 5 gallon Scepter gas bottle from another store and wanted to use it on the farm to fill gas tanks for farm equipment. Yesterday the tractor ran out of gas and I tried to fill the tank with this gas bottle. The protective functions on the nozzle did not work. I read and read the instructions and finally gave up after 20 minutes of fighting and still no gas. The only gas that escaped from the scepter holder ran down my leg. I squeezed the fuse so hard that the spout leaked, but it…

Superb quality and design

Small changes in design can make a big difference in simple products. I already have a very similar 5 gallon plastic gas can that works great. , there is a push tab that makes opening the lid of this jar much easier. This means I have a lot less strength to open the canister when it's time to fill it. Secondly, there is a protective filter in the mouth of the gas cylinder, which helps to reduce the escape of the flame and the ingress of dirt into the container. Third, the jar includes a small…

And the "wake " gas cartridge, how cute!

That's what a wake-up gas cartridge is. We've been developing gas cylinders similarly for decades, and they work. Then a man showed up who realized we had been doing something wrong all these years. Just like the people who felt we were using too much water to flush the toilet and built slow flow toilets, or the people who realized how much water we were wasting in the shower and restricted the flow to the shower head - who - anyone realized that gas canisters are too easy to use and came up…

Finally a 5 gallon pitcher with a side handle!

I like this pot, don't like the white flame softener in the throat but I get the purpose. I just have to get used to it because it's not easy to take it off! I've never had trouble filling other fuel tanks that haven't had this device stuck down the throat of California safety injectors that require you to pull out the vapor safety seal. back to filling small fuel tanks up to this one! Not a big deal, but you can see in the video how many times I had to reinstall or play with the vapor barrier…

No better than the old cans, but the best "safe " can so far.

Nothing quite compares to the speed and ease of use of old cans with a simple vent cap and nozzle. They were/are better in every way and caused less spills and headaches just because they were so simple. Most "safety" gas cylinders are ridiculously difficult to dispose of when a heavy canister is full of fuel, which many people drop or fiddle with the canister, which, despite having a feature that should reduce the chance of spills, makes for a messy spills. I usually just get the conversion…
