Craftsman Ash Vacuum: Powerful 5 Gallon, 3.0 Peak HP with Attachments Review

I have another brand vacuum cleaner that is sold in my oven shop, it was very expensive, about twice the price. While it sucks better, it's a lot easier to clean. Another vacuum cleaner has material and double lining inside. Disassembling this ash vacuum is much better. I wish it had smaller attachments as it doesn't do well for cleaning small areas of a pellet stove.

I bought this vacuum cleaner because it had good reviews. When I unpacked everything and tried to put the nozzle on the hose, the end holding the nozzle fell off the hose. Please note that this was the case when I tried to put the nozzle on and not take it off. No matter how I tried to pull the end of the hose back on, he couldn't resist. It is possible that the vacuum cleaner I received had a defective hose or hose end. The item has been returned. Now I wait until the pellet stove has cooled…

This vacuum cleaner works very well. The suction is good and it filters well so fine ash doesn't settle all over the room when you're done. This is much cleaner than using a shovel as no ash cloud forms in the work area. It sucks the chimney or stove very clean. There are 2 problems. Firstly, if there are any charcoal residue left, they will be attracted to the hole, greatly reducing efficiency, and you will have to turn off the vacuum for a few seconds to make them fall. I would give it zero stars if I could. A hose that should CLOSE in place and enter a vacuum will not snap. A slight movement while using the vacuum cleaner will cause the hose to come out of the bin and ash will be scattered throughout the house. I've sworn by Artisan to this day. Never again!

nothing but ash in the duct. I have to take the tube out every few minutes to tap the edge of the bin and empty it. Clogged due to insufficient suction. Almost no ash ends up in a real glass. I will be returning this unit for a unit that actually vacuums up ash like it should.
