I'm having trouble putting a shelf on the uprights because the top groove is too short. I removed the plugs from the posts and was able to attach the shelf to the top slot.

It would be better if the poles were 2 pieces instead of one tall pole. But they're solid and well made, just like the original HDX commercial shelving we need them for.

The shelf in our kitchen cupboard broke due to too much weight of pots and pans. I found these short legs and bought a 250# subway shelf. Together they work fantastic in the kitchen and for storing pots and pans.

I needed these for a low TV cart and they do the job. I couldn't find any of the Metro shelves (or similar products from other companies) that were low enough; they were all at least 36" tall. So I paired them with 5" Metro casters (*) and two 36" x 14" Honey-Can shelves -Do (**) assembled and they all go together beautifully These sticks are strong and look great The only minor downsides were that (a) installing the Metro wheels was a daunting task but a bit WD- 40 and a bang with a rubber…
