I'm a fan of 7th generation liquid laundry detergent but decided to give the capsules a try. I have 3 children (6 year old twins and an 8 year old) who love to be outside as much as possible. They love to get dirty and are rough with clothes! They work just as well as liquid detergents and are easy to work into clothes. I'm not a fan of lavender but I LOVE this scent. It's not floral at all, but it's not masculine either. It's not very strong, but in the right amount. It's also safe for septicโ€ฆ

Pros
  • USDA Certified Bio-based, 94% Botanical
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The best laundry bins to take students to school. When my teenage son started school, he used these laundry pads so he didn't have to measure out how much detergent he needed. I realized he was having a hard time grasping the concept since he wasn't into laundry lol. Students prefer to do things that are eco-friendly, and that's important in our house too, so I feel better sending him to school with this laundry detergent than what his flatmates full of bad stuff could pick up for the earthโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Instant laundry bins come in a bin designed for compact and easy storage
Cons
  • You can choose a newer model

Powder does not fully dissolve in cold water

I bought these to make my laundry more eco-friendly and I think they're good overall. Since these are detergent pods, I expected it to be liquid detergent, but they are actually powder-filled pods. I use top loading washing machines and have found that every time I use cold water (more energy efficient than warm or hot) the detergent doesn't completely dissolve leaving clumps and grains of powder in my laundry. . Because of this I switched to using warm water to allow the powder to fullyโ€ฆ
