Worked well on the 2009 Honda Civic. Key Fob

I recently bought a used Civic and the only key fob was a bit worn. This case took a little effort to attach the key, but it makes the key fob look *much* prettier. case, but I can shake the fuse off with some work.

Identical to retailer

These boxes are exactly the same as those you can buy from your local retailer. With normal use, they will last for several years before needing to be replaced again. They fit well. They tend to collect sand and oils under and around the fob, so it's a good idea to remove the fob from time to time, clean it, and then put it back on. I am deducting two stars because - when I ordered mine; they should clearly come from freaking CHINA. how. What the heck took me over a week to get to.

Pretty good remote control cover

I bought this cover to replace the key cover which started to peel off the key ring the last time I tried to remove it. Happy to report I've taken this off my keychain a few times so far and managed to stay in tact. I also like that it fully covers the remote buttons and has a matching Honda logo on the back. I'm not sure how well it will hold together (I've had it for just under two weeks at the time of writing this), but so far I have no regrets buying it.

Saved me $190 - Anti-theft

I have a 2008 Honda CRV. The metal ignition key fell out of the plastic key. The only thing that was broken was the plastic piece inside the fob that connects the metal key and the electronics. The Honda dealer said I had to replace the entire ignition key for $200. I thought about gluing or gluing the plastic and metal buttons together, but then I found these caps that worked great. The cover holds the body tight to hold the metal ignition key and the door opener buttons still worked great.

  • Easy to use

  • The list will go on.

Fits well! Inexpensive!

Fits my 2006 Honda Pilot key fob very snugly and securely. Every time you have to change the battery and unscrew the case, it crumbles a little to the point where the screw no longer holds the two sides together. Replacement key fobs are expensive, plus you have to reprogram all available keys! Super expensive. With this cover the problem is solved. There are no holes for buttons, but you still feel with your thumb whether you close or open the door. (I always had to look at the keychain to use

It can get VERY expensive

I received this leather keychain with high hopes, installed it and hung it on the keychain. When I started my car (2007 Honda CRV EX-L) everything was fine, but when I tried to turn the car off the key fob didn't allow the key to be turned all the way to the open position, so the key was stuck in the ignition . I tried pressing hard to get a click so I could remove it but nothing worked. I tried very hard, I was afraid that the key would break. I ended up taking a sharp knife and cutting the…
