SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY

I've used a few other brands in the past and they didn't work long or the connectors were crappy etc I'll tell you. when you want to get the most out of your sound system. OFC is what you need. And this SKAR Audio OFC kit is legal. Comes with high temperature loom to protect your motor. Most kits don't have this. Do a little research and study OFC and CCA cables. This kit is the best value for money.

  • Nice to use

FALSE OFC about amp installation

Overall product was great and worked well. I rated it so poorly because it is advertised as OFC (oxygen free copper) which is not the case. It is CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum). Now for the short runs I needed this wasn't a problem, if I needed the full cable they gave I would hesitate to crank it up to near full volume. I would recommend the company correct their description and stop telling customers it's not when it comes down to it

  • Excellent overall performance

Other reviews are misleading.

Other reviews that say it's not copper are wrong. If you cut the wire and look at the end you can clearly see the copper color. The silver color they show in the photo is the tin plating they apply to the wire to resist corrosion. If the wire was "silver" throughout, then it's aluminum. I also agree that it's smaller, probably closer to 5 gauge. As for everything else. It seems pretty average.

Ditch CCA and get OFC. this setπŸ‘

Everything in this set seems to be of good quality. Good RCAs but ended up keeping the ones I already had as they are good too. The wire is real copper and looks like good quality copper due to the copper and appearance. The wire appears to be up to 4 AWG. I used this to connect a 10 inch Skar SDR with Skar 800.1D. it bangs.hard.as sh🀫🀫. Very happy with the kit. All wires feel good, heavy and flexible. Definitely worth the price! My Skar kit came with a CCABskar amp kit and I've sold and…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost never

Terrible. After 8 months I had to replace my 2 foot 4 gauge power cord. He was completely dead. Turned silver. Replaced it with a REAL OFC cable at a reputable local audio store. $10 per foot. And now the power cord that runs through the car has completely burned out. In less than a year, I had to replace ALL my wiring with REAL oxygen-free copper wiring. It was a waste of my money. And now I almost have to pay for a brand new installation. Another $170 that I've already spent. Used them in a…

Easy to use, looks great once installed

For context, I have yet to connect power to the amp or subwoofers as I am still waiting for the box to be assembled. But since I just installed it and used it to add a secondary battery, my experience so far has been good. The cable is not too thick 1/0 but I have no problem with it because if it was I wouldn't be able to plug it into the amp. The rubber isolator is thick but surprisingly flexible and cuts well. The wire itself (which is real oxygen-free copper, thank goodness) was a bit of a…

Not cheap and not enough

I am so upset and disappointed in my amp kit that you think for the $100 you spend on it you get everything you need , and good quality. The terminal ends you get aren't even worth the time to crimp them as they won't hold up and fall off shortly after the wires are installed. The remote cable is so cheap and tiny that you'll snap the cable if you just pull it through the dash, and I'm talking about enough tension that it should never break like it does. It doesn't even say it's true 20 gauge…
