The perfect minimalist watch

As a graphic designer, the watches I wear make a statement on many levels. Most watches I've come across fall somewhere between beautiful but cluttered, expensive and simple but cheap, or poorly designed. After several months of observation, I came across what I consider to be the perfect Slow watch. I was attracted by the vintage look, the strict geometry and the clear design. Nice art but overpriced.

At first I had a hateful relationship with this watch. I liked the concept and design, but many buyers regretted paying $280 for a quartz watch. I thought the mechanism was worth the price, but then found out the part was only $12. My estimate is that the material cost is less than $50 per watch and the rest is profit as they don't do any marketing. The leather strap is really hard and dry. Nothing like the band you see in your youtube videos. A little skin lotion made it better but it gets too

I've used several watches costing around $100 for years without a single scratch on the glass. My slow Jo 19 has a few micro-scratches on the glass and one clear scratch visible from a distance. I didn't expect this and probably wouldn't buy another model if it broke. Update: One week use. The watch is…
