Works perfectly. Used to turn on the alarm siren on my caravan which requires 9V DC. Originally came with a 110V power supply, I used that instead so I could run it off the trailer's 12V DC system.

I have this to connect mini water waves to a boat. It was easy to hook up and modify for my needs. I just ran a wire to the battery, added a fuse and plugged in a 9 volt battery from an old kid's toy and it still works.

Someone gave me a nice 9V remote controlled LED flashlight. Since I hate changing batteries, I connected the converter to the truck's battery and left it on. My current application is a small solar panel that charges a truck battery. This LED provides 24/7 lighting in my small garage that has no electricity.

Connect it properly and it will work. no problems so far. I'm using it to power a wireless guitar system (WL-50 which takes 320mA when charging the transmitter) in my pedalboard as I've run out of high current outputs on my power supply and it's working fine and clean. It has a lot more current headroom so I can add a new pedal (mini compressor) and hope there are no problems.

My use case was that I wanted to run a carbon monoxide detector in my RV. It runs on 9v and my motorhome is of course 12v. I had a previous purchase that didn't work because when you charge your motorhome (connected to shore power) the voltage rises to just over 13 volts and the previous converter no longer works . I think it worked above 13 volts and up to 10 volts. I've only had the camper once and it seems to have served its purpose.
