This hinge is great for the price. It now has little to no interaction with, say, a $300 Alpha Blue Training Raptor, but it runs better than that and even moves well on fairly thick carpet. Makes what I would call a doggy raptor sound which I think is authentic and this guy really shines when he's chasing the neighbors cats with him, I would highly recommend him!

Great toy. The dinosaur itself is sturdy and made from quality materials. The dinosaur moves well and has great strength. The battery lasts several hours. Rolls well on low carpets and tiles. The controller is also well built, but I'd rather have something more intuitive, like the up-down or left-right arrows, rather than clicking on dinosaur skeleton parts. It's just not intuitive and the auto-move button is almost impossible to see. You get used to it in minutes and that's my only complaint…

Bought this as a Christmas present for my 5 year old nephew. He loves dinosaurs more than his mother and uncle. Actually my sister and I collect fossils and she is actually a school teacher so a remote controlled dinosaur is not a problem. I charged it up and played with it before it was full and I, a 43 year old male, had fun with it. I love that you can make it change direction while it's moving. Old-school radio-controlled dinosaurs couldn't do that. I also like that it makes noise. The kids

GOOD: ---------------* These Raptors are relatively fast. I was expecting a slow trot, but this Raptor has speed. Not as fast as a RC car, but realistically fast for a dinosaur.* The remote control is easy to use, my 6 year old picked it up quickly.* Adults will want to play with it too.
