Great product regardless of spoke spacing.

Great gift. Works great with e-bike. Only tested to 20mph but very accurate. Installing the sensor was the only part that took me a few tries. The manual and photos show the sensor pointing directly at the spokes, but there wasn't enough clearance on this bike. So I had to move the sensor 45° towards the rear of the bike and position the magnet at an angle to the sensor. (Attached image). After installation everything worked as expected.

Easy setup on odometers

This bike computer is simple and reliable. I bought 3 of these for my kids so they have an idea of how fast they go. and they love knowing their top speed on the track! With 4 cable ties it's all said and done. The looks of this computer are excellent and it is easy to read on the go. One aspect that frustrates me a bit is the factory reset before the next ride. I suppose I could memorize the manual, but I have other things to do. When it comes to cleaning up the computer, I usually restart the

There are better

Congratulations, you've just bought a frustrating watch. I consider myself a pretty capable guy and used to put speedometers on bikes. You don't need a PhD to understand instructions, but it would be nice to have one if you're developing. The monitor must be mounted less than 24 inches from the receiver. And on a kid's bike, which can work just fine, but anything over 24 inches, the monitor needs to be mounted too high on the spokes for the magnet to touch. And on a kids bike that might work…

What a gem! for electronics and gadgets

I was a bit skeptical about a $13 bike computer with few layers but at a price I'm losing. I've had it for about a month now and I have to say it was one of the best value for money purchases I've made in a long time. Easy 5 minutes Well thought I'd update my setup review, it's also very accurate on a recent 16 mile round trip off road, I got back to trailhead with an accuracy of 1/10th of a mile. I got caught in the rain, but the device still worked perfectly. I am impressed! Small…

Works great - installation needs decoding

I took my new speedometer apart for the first time this morning and am really glad I bought it. As I've become more active and spending more time on my bike over the last few months, imagining how fast and how far I'm going has motivated me to push myself harder and put in a few extra miles. It works exactly as described, and once you know which keys to press, you'll have a bunch of useful information. That being said (and I'm NOT saying this with racist intent) does anyone in these Chinese…

SENSOR requires both battery and LCD display

I had never installed anything like this and wasn't quite clear on the instructions so I had to search for the installation. The kit contains 3 round batteries. You have to use 2 at a time: 1 for the LCD, 1 for the sensor. The sensor is opened by sliding; There is no hinge or latch. My little brain couldn't figure out how to do it - I almost broke it trying to open it. But it opens. Once opened, turn the sensor upside down so that the round battery cover falls out. The thin puck also falls out.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Don't neglect the missing title!

After hours of trying to get this to work - Issue resolved when I was holding the computer and trying to decide where to place the magnet and sensor while the Wheel turned - I finally got back to reading the comments on Revain to see if I can get the key. It worked when I tested it, but not after I installed it. What we didn't find, and which should have been in bold, is the maximum distance a computer can read from a sensor. One reviewer highlighted this in his review, and after moving the…

Read comments from other users For help Installation

I got a new bike and wanted to mount the computer on the stem at an angle to the handlebars. Although it was shown in the promotional photo, the instructions never mentioned how to hide the block from the handlebar mount format. I checked the reviews and found that you have to loosen the 4 screws on the back panel, rotate 90 degrees and reattach. The rest was easy as I have installed similar blocks on other bikes. YouTube and user reviews offer some good advice if the instructions make you…
