Short-lived: Radio and wireless fences

We had it less than two months and the home base stopped working. Collars are virtually useless without a working perimeter.

Excellent customer service

We ordered several different systems and finally settled on a sporting dog. While this is the most expensive, you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great radio and wireless fencing system

I love this invisible fencing system. When the line breaks, there is noise at the base, so I immediately understand that the fence is not working. Costs money.

  • Ideal for a small home

One of the best things I've ever bought!

This is without a doubt one of the best products I have ever bought. We have two dogs and this works great for them. It's a pretty good installation job, but when it's done, it works very well. Fenced area of about 2 hectares. Rechargeable collars are without a doubt the best option.

Pros
  • Learning and behavior guide
Cons
  • There are nuances

It's huge! for dogs

I love the Sportdog brand. Have been using their e-collars for years. But this collar is HUGE. I wanted to love it with the ability to both hold and train but this huge thing is just TOO BIG. You can never do that to a small dog. Admittedly, he doesn't weigh much, but he's just freaking BIG. I use a 100C underground fence and love it. I was about to switch to it, but when I received the system I immediately sent it back. I wouldn't even put that HUGE thing on my dog. As technology improvesโ€ฆ

Dog allowed! - Radio & Wireless Fencing

We ordered this set along with an extra coil of wire and a second collar to keep our dogs on our 3.5 acre property. Installation was easy enough! I highly recommend using a chainsaw to dig the perimeter trench. I was able to rent one from Home Depot and dig all the way around the house in 1 hour. My husband and I were just covering it with the top layer of earth when we laid the wire. The guide has a great detailed 30 day training plan but our dogs figured it out in two days. We were veryโ€ฆ
