Good ignition switch price for a vintage

My old car acted like the ignition switch had failed so I checked out Revain and was very pleased to find you can still buy a switch at a very low price. reasonable price. Looked like the ones I took off and worked fine. It's great that you can still get parts for a 50 year old car!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

For this I plan to disassemble the dashboard.

The dashboard of early Chevelle models is very narrow where this switch fits. You will never raise your hand to unplug or pull the switch. he has to go through the front. that is, after removing the hyphen. It doesn't have to come out all the way, but all the fasteners have to come out to pull the dash out and lower it just enough to get to the switch. have fun.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Works great with my Corvair

Best price and easy replacement for my '67 Corvair. Identical to my original switch except this switch has an extra pin labeled GRD which my original switch doesn't have, just leave it unused. My machine's spade terminals were a bit loose at these terminals (thinner metal terminals?), so I used pliers to pinch each end together to secure the fit. You need very tight connections to this switch as there is a lot of current flowing through it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Compatibility
