    Waste of money good for cutting mats

    Once you have applied and cut the vinyl it is impossible to remove the paper backing from the vinyl. If a scraper is used to remove the vinyl paper backing, it will remove the sticky coating from the mat. These rugs are a waste of money.

    Four cuts.: Quilting

    This article was enough for me to make 4 cuts with my cricket machine. Extremely disappointed as my returns window has "closed" although I have not used a mat of this size to date. 4 cutting a brand new mat today and it cuts with "standard" pressure. Edit 5/12/20: I've emailed the owner/dealer of the brand and they haven't confirmed anything. Even "fly a kite" would at least have let me know that they read customer emails, but as of now, weeks later, they still haven't responded.

    Residual sticky “gum glue” = dirt

    No fan! Aside from the color of the mat, there is nothing better than the Cricut mats. Straight out of the box the mats looked like they had applied a local coating of rubber adhesive to the green mats. I used 6 sheets of 12" x 12" vinyl, all of which were covered in adhesive residue when I removed them from the mat. I had to use alcohol wipes to remove the sticky balls from the vinyl before using the heat press. Tried two more sheets of 12x12 vinyl that were still covered in an ugly sticky…

    • When storing the mat, wrap it in cling film to avoid tearing the paper and to keep dust off the mat. Use a scraper to scrape off any excess pieces and a spatula to gently remove the cut out images.

    It was incredibly sticky.

    I really struggled with the first one in this set. It was so sticky that it tore at my paper backed vinyl even when I turned the mat upside down to detach it from the mat. After a day of use there were a few spots where all the glue came loose along with the paper. I'm still using the first one in the pack but I don't think I'll be buying it again. They are priced too close to the Cricut brand and are actually too sticky for most uses. I will use it on the skin and maybe it will work better. It

    Glue is great if you want it on the back of your piece. project

    I ordered these mats after using the 12" x 12" Nicapa mats. I really liked the 12 x 12 inch rugs. The adhesion was what I expected and they cut my Cricut beautifully. I then ordered 12" x 24" mats for a larger project. After removing the cut product from the mat, adhesive is visible throughout the substrate and there are patches of missing adhesive on the mat. I thought it was a buddy. So I tried the second one. I even used a towel to blot the adhesive to reduce the stickiness if that was an…
