This product relieves the cooling system. A locking lever prevents the cap from being removed when the system is pressurized. I have three cars that have driven a quarter of a million miles each. They're all supposed to be 16psi caps, but at their age they have little mysterious leaks here and there. A slightly lower cap pressure will help avoid problems. I'll take two more now.

Not STANT and does not match the car! Like many products on Revain today, this product is a lie. It's not just a lie. It doesn't even fit in the car! If Revane keeps this up, I'm done with it. If I don't have to return the scrap, what do I do with it? I still don't have a radiator cap. Probably throw it away.

I received this as a replacement cover for my 1995 Ford F-150 when replacing the radiator. The first cap I got wouldn't stay on the radiator no matter how much I fiddled with it. I took a look and the two locking tabs were too small to grab the filler neck and hold the cap in place. Revain immediately sent me a replacement free of charge and it was slightly better and at least enough to hold the filler neck.
