Tormek Multi-Jig for sharpening woodturning tools

Once set up, this woodturning tool is a pleasure to use and sharpens your tools quickly. Time. A person doesn't have much downtime between sharpening and turning. However, the number of nozzles required for different turning tools is very large. AND EXPENSIVE.

Must be completely redone.

I love my Tormek and most tools. This one is an exception. After using this for a year or more, I don't think he's ever clamped my bevel chisel the same way twice. Every time I try to re-sharpen it takes a long time because I'm constantly changing the shape of the blade. Badly done on this jig.

Better than manual sharpening of oblique chisels, but IMHO the price is still too high.

. But I bought it anyway and am very happy with it. It seems a little pricey for what it is, but it does the trick. On the other hand, my time assembling the lamp is worth something, and it will be difficult for me to make something so versatile. I kept thinking about the best way to make a sculpting and sharpening jig on my worksharp. Anything that would work with multiple bevels and bevel angles seemed to take some time to get right.
