Tormek Multi-Jig for sharpening woodturning tools

Once set up, this woodturning tool is a pleasure to use and sharpens your tools quickly. Time. A person doesn't have much downtime between sharpening and turning. However, the number of nozzles required for different turning tools is very large. AND EXPENSIVE.

Pros
  • Consists of two seats - one open and one closed
Cons
  • Some little things

I love my Tormek and most tools. This one is an exception. After using this for a year or more, I don't think he's ever clamped my bevel chisel the same way twice. Every time I try to re-sharpen it takes a long time because I'm constantly changing the shape of the blade. Badly done on this jig.

Pros
  • Designed for turning tools with straight or curved blades
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

. But I bought it anyway and am very happy with it. It seems a little pricey for what it is, but it does the trick. Based on other reviews and Tormek's reputation, I gritted…

Pros
  • Can grind both bevels symmetrically when the tool is turned upside down
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
