    Excellent and very noticeable

It's quite large as expected. I wore it in a pretty heavy downpour to walk my pup and it was completely dry from mid-calf. The workmanship is above what I expected for the price. I'll never be able to fold it perfectly to fit in my bag, but that doesn't really matter.

    Pros
    • High marks for grip and durability from testers
    Cons
    • Negative impression

    Broad shoulders although dry

I wore it in the rain for about an hour and a half and was still dry but your forearms are sticking out of the pockets because there really are no sleeves and it has huge shoulders. as if you were a soccer player with pads. The front end was dangling around my waist so I used a headlight strap and attached a corner to the handlebars and then I felt a lot better. And my knees were dry too.

    • Trial for a year
    Cons
    • Empty

    Not for tall people

It's really good quality. My only problem is that there is only one size. I bought it for my boyfriend who rides his bike to work in all weathers. He's 6ft 4in and weighs 265lbs and this rain poncho barely fits. His arms are almost too big to fit through the armholes when he's wearing the jacket, and it ends well above his knees. The model in the picture should be quite small. But he loves it and wants it to stay that way.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Not bad but...

In terms of cost, I would go the other way

I later found a raincoat and jacket on Amazon for the same price so in hindsight I might have, but considering this pancho has a cover and is fully waterproof I would buy it again. I should probably give 5 stars except the hood has an annoyance that I can't get over with any sweatshirt I've found. The cord that tightens it doesn't do anything, it comes loose with every wind. For this reason it should not be advertised as a pancho bike raincoat as the hood is practically unsuitable for cycling.

    Pros
    • Free for educational purposes
    Cons
    • The list would be long.

Does the fear of bad weather take away

Rain ahead? No problem. Take 10 seconds to put it on. You can sit on the backrest or drape it over the seat to keep your back dry. The front wraps over the handlebars, keeping your thighs and shorts dry while providing plenty of ventilation. Your calves and feet need wings and boot swabs, or simply wear flip flops in warmer conditions. You can put on and take off other gear like gloves, hats and scarves underneath because there is so much space. 10 seconds and it's over. Love love love this…

    50 Percent Dry Bike

Pros: Head and upper body kept dry up to about the knees. Cons: wet hands, wet knees down. it was cycling. I walked over some dog poo and Pancho rubbed it a bit since it hung far enough to chafe a bike tire. I like the hood very much. The transparent sides are much appreciated as I don't have to turn my head as far to look for cars. I was hoping to stay completely dry but was only 50% dry so I ordered rain pants from another company and 5 cheap packs of rain panchos with sleeves. This coat fits

Best bike raincoat for the money

I waited for a review until we had a couple of heavy downpours. This rain cape saved me from the unpredictable weather of the Pacific Northwest. The raincoat hood nestles snugly against the head and can be worn comfortably under a helmet. See-through hood side panels improve peripheral visibility. The material of the cloak itself seems quite durable and I haven't noticed any wear and tear from folding it inwards a few dozen times. The reflective visibility stripes are a nice feature, although…
