Lenses break best on sports sunglasses

Sunglasses look and feel good in them, but lenses only 'loosen/break' after a short wear. I expect better quality for $50 sunglasses.

Pros
  • Arc: 136mm
Cons
  • Operating Speed

Great looks - perfect for my rather large face

Great looks - perfect for my rather large face. Seems to protect well from scratches - keep them on my car's gearshift console and they haven't been scratched in about a year.

Pros
  • Nose pads and/or Megol temple pads on some models
Cons
  • Faulty

Good glasses and unbeatable value for money.

Quality frames and sharp clear lenses are hard to beat at this price. I've had a pair for 2 years (they have miraculously not been mixed up), I bought a second pair as a spare. Will keep buying.

Pros
  • Polarized
Cons
  • Nothing here

Old glasses are strong and cheap, new ones are expensive and cheap

They used to make great and durable sunglasses for a reasonable $32 price point. Now they offer cheap and expensive ($50). Extremely disappointed and ticking that I bought them. The only plus is that they are light.

Pros
  • Grilamid frame material and metal custom logo plaques
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Comfortable, Cool, Discreet Oakley

These glasses give Oakley Holbrooks some serious bang for the buck. Very convenient. The lenses feel almost smooth. The polarized lenses are great and have held up. I've had them for a year now and they look brand new. The lenses are made by Polaroid, so you know the glass is good.

Pros
  • Injection Molded Polarized Polycarbonate Lenses
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Think of something else

Really surprised at how light and cheap they feel. Definitely disappointed. I think that the plastic will crack in the near future. They feel the same, or maybe not even, like gas station sunglasses. TO UPDATE. I've had them for over a year and they are like new. I have a hard time justifying a reason to buy another pair of sunglasses.

Pros
  • Lens base curve 6 and 8
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Broke after 2 months.

I really liked these sunglasses. The green color isn't nearly as rich green in the photo, but it's still good. The hue really brings out the natural green of the grass and trees! BUT! I've worn these glasses for barely 2 months and they're already broken. I opened them one morning and one side snapped off without effort. I'm very disappointed because I thought $50 would buy me a good pair of sunglasses. I've had several pairs that last much longer that I only paid $10 for.

Pros
  • Grilamid frame
Cons
  • Slightly torn
