🧵 Super-Lon #18 Cord – 12 Pack Combo for Stringing, Beading, Crochet, Micro-Macramé, and Kumihimo Jewelry Projects – S-Lon Spring Mix Review

Bought to help my kumihimo weaving skills but wife ran away with all the weaving stuff. I actually wanted something equivalent to my locally purchased C-Lon string of beads. It's similar but about 1/3 smaller in diameter. The finished 8-strand kumihimo weave was too thin for my liking. My wife loves the S-Lon cable.

I love this stuff and have lots of it---this is the first time one of the coils was short, looks like I lost about 15 yards or so otherwise is it perfect for me. I do a lot of kumihimo and this is perfect for that. I use size 11 and 8 beads, this is the best option. I will keep buying it, these prices are among the best for what you get. 77 meters is a lot!

very good quality cord! Beautiful colors! I can use them for embroidery and jewelry making! The only problem is that the size of my knitting cords really misled me! I always buy cords from my local bead shop on large flat cardboard and plastic spools 1.5mm or 0.5mm in diameter! I assumed the 0.5mm I bought was measured correctly. It's not like this! The one I used was clearly marked as 0.5mm and the brand claimed it was Bead Smith but it was actually 1mm not 0.5mm! "This" cable is indeed 0.5mm!
